hi!! i'm (the web keeper) madi! i grew on the ever evolving web (as i'm sure many of you did). unfortunently i was never around for web 1.5, when myspace, blogs and emails were the norm. thankfully i was just old enough to catch the end of the creative ferver and 'cringe' culture that was early web 2.0, where passionate fandoms and content, furries, animation memes, and minecraft youtubers run rampant!! although i still hold hope in the webs potential to bring about a positive impact, i now only frequent imessage, letterboxd, and pintrest (whos content is also declining in quality due to main stream use of AI).
however, after discovering the existence of neocities through cjthex's essay, ' what is to be done ', i joined the site in 2024 and began working on my website in an attempt to seperate myself from the current web, while still allowing myself to reap the community, creativity and positive impact of the world wide web. :)
if you can spare any time &/ or funds, please take a few minutes out of your day to browse through the resources to the left, all linked charities are reputable, and any information i'm able to spread helps. i would also recommend the security council reports (8th line) as they're highly informative and one of the most up to date sources of information.

about me:
i'm 18 and reside in australia! i recently (finally) escaped the soul crushing education system and have been filling my time: drawing (usually digitally), updating my website, sleeping and lying about, socialising with family and friends, and going on walks!
i'm soon to be starting university (in which i'll likley major in politics, and minor in ethics (i have yet to be decisive ;-;)).
my favourite colour combination is blood red, coffee cream, and jet grey! and i love: iced strawberry matchas (with oat milk), red bean buns, afghan coats, snow leopards (along with the rest of the feline family) and, maned wolves. i also enjoy meeting new people (online), so feel free to befriend me through my contacts (scroll down the page)!
